Creating compound words

Now that we know what a compound word is, let’s try creating some compound words on our own.

Example 1:

Picture 1                                             Picture 2 

Above we have two pictures.

Picture 1 is a flower                       Picture 2 is a pot

If we combine the two words, what word will we get?

Yes, flowerpot: flower + pot= flowerpot

Example 2:

Picture 1                                                     Picture 2

Above we have two pictures.

Picture 1 is a cup                     Picture 2 is a cake

If we combine the two words, what word will we get.
Yes, cupcake: cup + cake=cupcake
