A reptile’s body is covered in scales. Most reptiles have dry skin and some even have a hard shell, for example a turtle. Reptiles reproduce by laying eggs and they breathe through their lungs. Reptiles are cold-blooded animals, most reptiles have four legs, but some have no legs, for example snakes. These animals can be found both in water and on land water. If you look at a reptile, you would notice that these animals do not have visible ears; instead they have tiny ear holes.
