Behaviour to be displayed when the National Pledge is being recited
The National Pledge is recited during school assemblies, the National Day Parade, and at National Day Observance Ceremonies, just to name a few. We say the National Pledge every morning of our school day.
Below shows a picture displaying the words of the National Pledge, take a moment to read it aloud.
It is important to note that when saying the National Pledge, we must stand at attention, meaning straight and tall.
When reciting the Pledge, you shall clench your right fists to the left side of your chests as a gesture to symbolize loyalty to the nation.
