Maybe you saw a lizard on the wall today, lizards are reptiles. There are small lizards and there are huge lizards. Some live in and around your environment, while others live many miles away. At the zoo you are sure to see crocodiles, alligators, caimans and snakes. It is a rare and special occasion to see a turtle laying eggs on the beaches in Trinidad and Tobago. Reptiles like Gecko, and Chameleons are displayed on documentary programs like Animal Kingdom. Whether a reptile lives in your back yard or the Amazon Jungle in Brazil, one thing is for certain; they are all still reptiles.
